Dear Falcon Families,

Congratulations to the Scripps Ranch High School AFJROTC Terabyte Falcons.  The AFJROTC team was announced as the National Runner-Up in the All Services Division at CyberPatriot XVI out of 1,309 teams that entered the competition.  Congratulations to the 6 cadets and their instructor, retired Major Mark McLouth.  Also congratulations to our Roller Hockey Team who are this year's CIF Champions.  We also would like to congratulate our Science Olympiad team and the team advisor Mrs. Patty Fowler.  The team consisted of 86 students, each competing in three or four of the 23 events.  Together the team won 22 medals, an exceptional achievement as our regional competition is the largest and most challenging in the United States.  Our spring sports have begun league competition. We wish good luck to our spring athletes and their coaches. See below for the latest updates as of 3-24-24

* Please forward this message to your child’s email account so they have all the latest info.

Facts for Parents in the PowerSchool Parent Portal - Reminder

Starting Monday, March 11th, a new form will be added to the PowerSchool Parent Portal. It's called the 2023-24 Facts for Parents. This form will ask you to confirm that you have received the Facts for Parents booklet, which contains important updated information for families in San Diego Unified. The booklet covers your rights and responsibilities, along with district, local, state, and federal policies affecting all students. Each year, schools must provide this booklet to every parent/guardian. In the Parent Portal, you'll find the form available in English, Spanish, Somali, Tagalog, and Vietnamese. It includes a link to the Facts for Parents booklet on the district website. Please login to the PowerSchool Parent Portal and submit the 2023-24 Facts for Parents form. Throughout the school year, schools will remind any parents/guardians who haven't completed the form yet. Please contact the Scripps Ranch Site tech at [email protected]  if you do not have an access ID.
